The use of Chromebooks in my classroom will aid students in building on their reading and fluency skills by providing them with the opportunity to explore various school approved websites to focus on the skills they need to improve. It will allow for differentiation amongst my students as each of them are working on a different skill. Students learn in different ways and should be provided the opportunity to learn in a way that best meets their needs. Websites such as ReadWorks, NewsELA, CommonLit, and Reading A-Z are amazing websites that allow for differentiation for my students to work on specific skills they need to focus on.
