I have found a gap between the leveled books I currently have and where I need to meet my students for them to be successful. I would like to get books for their current reading levels and beyond. We hope that students achieve a reading level of N by the end of second grade. In order to help them reach this goal, I need leveled readers from A-G. I have chosen fiction and nonfiction sets to help foster their love of learning. The fiction books will help capture their attention and allow their imagination to run wild. My students love to do research! We are constantly searching for the answers to questions we have. Having nonfiction books on their levels will help them to feel more confident in their contribution to our learning.
