The students who come to my classroom are in need of extra support to access the core curriculum. Most students are in classes that will work towards earning a high school diploma. The students do not have internet access at home nor do they have devices other than sometimes prepaid cell phones that cannot access the internet. Students would benefit from new devices allowing them to work on school projects and assignments required for their classes. Our current technology is out of date and breaking down. We never have enough devices for all students to be able to work at the same time. Since this is my first DonorsChoose.org Project, I am only able to request 5 iPads due to cost. It is my goal to do this project two more times so that I may get 15 iPads total for my students so that each student has access to a device.
