I would like to provide my students with up-to-date non-fiction books to use in the library. There are many people and events from the past and present that are of interest to them. Many of our existing books are old and do not grab the interest of today's students. Also, because our school has recently transitioned from an elementary school to a middle school, many library items are simply not challenging enough for our more inquisitive older students. The non-fiction books I have chosen will really encourage my students to want to find out more about a variety of topics.
