My 5th grade students are very kind, respectful, caring, and eager to learn. They have a positive attitude, and enjoy coming to school. They come from different backgrounds and appreciate one another. In our classroom, the students have learned to praise each other when they reach a goal. They also encourage each other to do their best. They enjoy collaborating and helping each other succeed. They love to participate in hands-on activities that are fun and allow them to have an enriched education. We are in a low-income district, and my students come from hard working families. Our school has about 1,000 students and has a positive atmosphere. Our administrators care very much about our students, and are always looking for ways to encourage all of the students to try their best at all times. Our administrators are also very supportive to the staff members so that all of us help students be academically successful.
