We are trying to get more kid friendly technology into our preschool classroom. My children this year are very interested in observing and documenting what is around them and the VTech cameras will be a great start to this goal. One of the goals I have for the children is for them to plan and create an artistic creation through photographs. A second goal is to participate in a shared writing experience, where the end product is a classroom book. Each child will contribute information and photographs to complete our book. The first project we want to work on this year is to get to know our school community better. Our plan is to come up with 3 interview questions and to have each child and his family interview a staff member in our school. Part of this plan will be for the child to photograph the staff member he chooses. We will then put all of our data together to create a school book.
