We all know the high school years are a significant part of life. Often when adults reminisce about this point in time they look back with fondness. Today's teens might tell a different story when they look back years from now. All teens experience some level of stress and or anxiety; but studies show that today's teen deals with much more stress and anxiety than previous generations. Learning how to control anxiety and emotional responses is a great task. Crazy Aaron's Thinking Putty is an excellent example of a sensory fidget. Students use it as a self-regulation tool that can reduce anxiety and stress and increase focus. Calming fidgets such as the Tangle Jr.'s and Thinking Putty promote focus and concentration, relieve stress, keep minds focused, and students relaxed. Once these stressors are managed our students can focus more on their academics.
