The materials and supplies that I am requesting will provide my students with necessary hands on learning experience. A set of magnifying glasses allows my students to literally zoom into their scientific observations. New coloring markers and paint brushes will inspire my student's art projects with vibrant possibilities. Book bins will make it so my students assignments and books are more organized causing less damage inside of their desks. The donations to this project will allow my students to have necessary artistic supplies, organizational tools, and science manipulatives. Our science unit in magnetism can be more engaging through the use of these manipulatives. The science unit teaching animal traits and life cycles will also be more successful with the use of the magnifying glasses this grant can fund. In addition, this project will provide me with a book of science reading passages for each day of the school year, and a book of engineering challenges. This project can truly deepen my students questions, creativity, and organizational skills.
