We are hoping to create a flexible seating classroom one desk and one chair at a time that can promote more student engagement without the distractions and noise from outdated furniture. We want to give our students more options that promote student learning while embracing their unique individual learning styles. A student who needs to move but is forced to sit still or sit down may not be as productive as a student who has options on how they would like to participate in the learning environment. We want to create a positive and effective learning environment where all students can be successful.
