Struggling learners need alternative methods to support learning development. Students who have difficulties in reading can be able to access information through auditory measures. Headphones in a reading classroom will allow students to listen to how stories and books are read so they, in turn can practice reading at their own pace applying what has been modeled for them in the recorded version of text. The headphones with mics will allow students to verbally draft their notes and assignments on their computers in the classroom, focusing on content not spelling or how to type. Using technology as a tool is key to all students' success.
