My students love to build and create! These items combine both of their loves while also allowing opportunities for learning. The Blocks Rocks! and PicassoTiles will help my students with very important skills. Both materials will help further develop their spatial awareness, analytical thinking skills, understanding attributes of shapes, and their ability to work with others. These skills are extremely important not only for second graders but also for lifelong learners! These materials will offer opportunities for my students to be creative while demonstrating mathematical and engineering skills. Giving students STEM opportunities has an overall positive impact on their learning and social well being.
