After witnessing a racialized pandemic disrupt their high school experience, our students have asked for texts that they can connect with, to both expand the canon of literature that exists in our school library and the collective consciousness within English departments across the country. From poetry to prose, non-fiction to fiction, the selected books in this project will support our students in physically reading together, after over a year of digital-only education in isolation. Your donations will support our seniors to better understand themselves and their place in the world as they prepare to graduate this summer!
