The purpose of using reading comprehension card games and literacy activities is to improve my students' ability to comprehend along with literacy skills. They came back from virtual learning struggling in the area of reading comprehension. Since reading is an important skill where students always have to read in any other subjects and comprehend texts and stories, they need to understand and practice their reading strategies by using engaging tasks. The best way to enhance reading comprehension is to integrate students into games. Using these games will increase my students' engagement and focus. They will move and work collaboratively while they are getting interested in the lesson. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in reading comprehension. Therefore, this project will provide a great chance for them.
