As a class of 32, we only have access to one copy of the test prep book that is most helpful in preparing students to take an entrance exam for top ranked high schools in our district. Students are limited to their time and use of the book since we only have one copy. The book contains strategies, practice problems, tips and full length tests that could benefit students who will take this same exam year after year. Also, having a class set of these test prep books allows students to have access to test prep all year long so even seventh graders could begin preparing for the exam a year before even taking the exam. This resource would also benefit teachers who could sample questions from the book in their everyday teaching as well as align problem solving strategies to those suggested in the book.
