I currently work with small groups for reading intervention and have wonderful materials to use here at school. One problem...they don't have leveled books to read and practice with at home! This is where YOU come in. I would love for each of my students to be able to take home a just-right leveled book to practice with their families and on their own. I have collected special book bags for each of them to use as a take-home and bring back to school bag. The students love to practice what they have learned! Research has consistently shown that increasing parent involvement can significantly improve students' success in early reading, as well as their ongoing success in school.
