Students enjoy learning about the world around them. With up-to-date Scholastic News magazines, we will be able to engage in meaningful reading and conversation in our science and social studies classroom. The students will be asked to read the current events and have discussions with each other and the teacher about the facts and their thoughts and opinions. Scholastic News also offers other on-line resources and videos for classroom use with their classroom magazine subscriptions. These are a great way to teach about what's happening in the real world every day and to encourage debates and healthy conversations among students.
