All students have been greatly affected by the forced distant learning. Students struggle to maintain focus. They do not have the same stamina for sitting for long periods of time throughout the school day. They have pent-up energy and need a way to release that energy without losing precious learning time. Having a classroom set of Bouncy Bands for chairs provides an outlet for each student to have an outlet for their excess energy and tension. I already have Bouncy Bands for the desks and have used them for six years. The Bouncy Bands for chairs will give my students a choice on how they can fidget and learn. The pandemic has also forced education to incorporate 21st century technology into the classroom at a much faster pace. Students and teachers alike have had to adapt to the way lessons are presented and assignments submitted. My students need headphones that are not broken, provide rich sound quality, and microphones to provide high sound quality with their audio submissions.
