We do two musicals each year and work hard with our students to use a head microphone. We need additional microphone outlets to cover enough of our student performers. These musicals, in addition to all of our other performance opportunities build confidence and pride in our kids. These musicals offer opportunities for students to sing and speak as characters in our performances without having to crowd around a microphone on a stand. These mics also allow for them to learn how to move as their character as the script demands. I follow their progress after they leave our school and it's so much fun (and rewarding) to see them continue their music through middle school and high school.
