Most of my students struggle with knowing and using the basic functions of technology when using a computer due to lack of exposure. Our students lack one-to-one technology which is continuing to perpetuate the achievement gap. My goal, as a teacher, is to help prepare my students for life after high school as well as English. This becomes increasingly hard to do without the necessary tools needed for them to succeed. By donating to our project, we can begin to give our students access to the technical tools they so desperately need to be ready for life outside of high school. I hope by providing them with consistant access to technology, we can develop their technical skills.
