Technology is an essential part of modern health and wellness, as well as artistic design. Viral dance challenges, health trackers, online research, and digital sound and video editing are a mainstay of our popular and creative culture. iPods will allow students to tap in to and learn how to use these resources more efficiently. Today's students are tomorrow's artists and designers; they need to be able to understand and utilize technological research, design, and editing tools in order to develop the skills necessary for participating in the modern artistic process. On a basic level, students cannot efficectively access music selections, revise, or edit their work without technology. From a deeper perspective, this technology is necessary for students to begin learning how to integrate the scientific and creative processes required for true innovation.
