Some of my students have auditory sensitivities and cannot handle loud, jarring noises. The sound of the other students' chairs scraping along the tile floor can be quite disruptive to them. By applying the chair socks we will be able to offer a quiet place for students to learn which will help them reach their maximum potential. When students' have specific learning needs, it is extremely important to address them in such a way as to not single them out. With the use of the chair socks no one will know who has the sensory difficulty and will improve the classroom experience for everyone.
