Donors, I want to tell you a little bit about my band students and why I love them so much. All my students as a whole are wholesome and over achievers. There is nothing that they do not want to learn. The only thing on their minds are school and band. Majority of my band students are from poverty stricken home so asking for things don't come easy. But teaching them music, that comes with ease. Everyday my students want to get better. They don't settle for less. I think the only thing that's stopping them from reaching their full potential is ownership. Having their own instrument. Right now the kids are sharing their instruments. I think this is stunting their grow a little. All in all, my band student are hungry for success and they always want to strive for the highest. And this is why I love them so much and continue to make them great musicians.
