Second graders love learning on our classroom carpet! There are many times throughout the day where I choose to teach my lessons at the carpet. Having a double-sided mobile easel with storage would be beneficial to my students and myself during our daily lessons. I would be able to easily provide my students with visual representations for all subjects on both sides of the board and store my educational materials needed for the lesson inside the drawers. My students can also demonstrate their understanding of a topic by using the easel to solve problems or write down their answers. Research has proven that incorporating movement into the classroom will increase focus, understanding, and participation. I believe a mobile easel is the perfect addition to get my students moving and a great way to learn new things! I can use the easel to model learning strategies, hang anchor charts, and even for small group lessons.
