I am creating a safe, warm, and inclusive learning environment within my counseling office with a table, chairs, and a rug. Within this space, students will put into practice social/emotional skills they are being taught at our school. They will have the opportunity to be vulnerable, stretch themselves, and create a deepened sense of empathy, through learning more about themselves and others. In this space, students will be a part of therapy groups, which I will run as their school counselor. Within therapy groups, students will learn about topics such as empathy, digital safety/citizenship, friendship, anxiety, and more geared towards the middle school level. With your support, this safe, warm, and inclusive learning environment will be possible!
