My goal is to support students and new teachers with books. We want to see that our classrooms have a variety of books for students to find their passion and our goal is to have students borrow books to grow their home libraries. I would love to see students take books home and share their love of reading. We need to promote a love of literacy and building libraries is a good place to start. Once our libraries are stacked the possibilities for a child become endless! We can give them the keys to unlock their dreams and potential. Independent reading time is crucial and we want students to have enough books to want to read a series, make predictions, comparisons and to make connections.
