In the art program one of our goals is to instill a sense of responsibility and pride in our students. We want our students to recognize how art can teach you real world skills such as responsibility, problem solving, perseverance and grit. The succulents requested will help my students make interdisciplinary connections between science and art as they create their pinch pots with form and function. They will learn how pinch pots have a place in society and have developed through time. The succulents and potting mix will help teach them responsibility in caring for their plants throughout the school year.
