Our classroom is part of larger school family that celebrates inclusion and fosters leadership! These books will help my students see themselves in stories we read together and independently. My goal is to support diversity in the classroom by adding titles that celebrate everyone in our world. Students will be able to honor themselves and each other through the exploration of reading. The conversations these books will create with students will continue to educate them on diversity in our world and the importance of equality among everyone. Through recognizing and respecting the differences in all of us, we will work towards our goal of an all-inclusive classroom. Promoting equality and diversity in education is essential for both teachers and students. Thank you for helping me with this mission in my classroom!
