How can I "Light Up" learning in pre-k students? A color changing light table! A color changing light table will increase focus and attention of pre-k Autism students. They will be engaged during academic and social skill development. Color changing light tables encourage students of all abilities to engage and interact. Manipulatives from all academic, social and fine motor areas can be used on color changing light tables. Math, science, patterning, fine motor and language arts can be addressed. This encourages learning in all academic and social skill areas. As a bonus, the kids will learn to share and take turns while learning.
