Having soft, flexible Big Beanbags and a carpet for a quite and cozy space are very important for my little learners. They are just learning to deal with variety of emotions and very often, my students need to take time alone to help them understand what they are feeling. A half of my students nonverbal and they need kinetic sand and sensory dough because sand play allows children to express their emotions without having to verbalise their thoughts. It is very good for their emotional development. Sand play also relaxes and calms down children who are angry, disturbed or frustrated. By donating to our project, you will not only help to organize a quite, safe, cozy and calming space for our children you will ultimately help them to learn how to regulate the emotions they are just beginning to understand. Most of my students have lack of social-emotional skills and my role as a teacher is to develop them and help my little learners to understand themselves and teach them how to manage their emotions.
