My students must keep up with the latest advancements in education to spark an interest in reading. Education is changing every single day, and so are the interests of my students. Students in my classroom like to listen/ read using their technology. Practicing what they learn as they listen to the book they are reading and answering some comprehension questions orally. Students who use this technology have difficulties listening, understanding, moreover speaking as there are no headphones available in the classroom. It sometimes create frustration among them. Helping students begin to learn that reading is fun is perfect way to build better readers. Having adequate technology to support them, is even better. They will love to have those headphones.
