The Kimochi Mixed Bag of Feelings and social emotional books will help my TK students identify their feelings, and know how to deal with them. These materials, will supplement our social-emotional program. The majority of our time in TK is focused on social-emotional growth. TK students are learning to identify their feelings. These tools will not only teach children to express themselves in a productive way, but will also help them to recognize and empathize with the feelings of others. Learning about feelings and emotions beyond happy, sad, and mad, will help students communicate their needs and wants with peers and adults. These tools will also help students know how they can be in control of their reactions to the feelings they are experiencing.
