The students will have to use both real world technological skills and the collaborative skills necessary for success post-high school in creating these podcasts. Our local newspaper readership is in decline similar to many communities. The students are looking forward to connecting to the community through technology they can share through a variety of social media. In addition the students will develop the goal setting skills necessary for leadership in their post-high school lives.

About my class
