Students at my school have struggled with writing. With a new initiative to get the students on track with their writing from 6th grade and continuing on through their entire middle schools career, I want to assure that their sixth grade classroom is stocked in the supplies needed to support their writing journey. They will use highlighters, portfolios and poster paper to edit and evaluate their writing as they grow throughout the year. A writing model is in place and the students are ready to be actively engaged in taking ownership for their own writing! They are excited and working hard but need more materials to support their journey.
