After teaching Kindergarten for 25 years, it would be very exciting to get some new materials to teach my students with. They are working on learning their letters and sounds. Many of the materials I have chosen like the ABC Wiki Stix, Alpha Bots, and ABC trace present , present learning letters in a hands on tactile way. The Wiki Stix ABC gives my students a chance to build letters with their hands. The ABC trace will allow my students to trace letters with something other than paper and pencil. 5 and 6 year olds learn with all 5 senses. So it is important to present learning activities that engage all of their 5 senses. These materials are also very exciting and engaging. My students will be learning without even know they are working.
