My students need the ability to move their desks and chairs around the classroom for collaborative learning. Sometimes we work in groups of various sizes, and sometimes we need to be able to sit alone. These desks and chairs will allow us to easily move into groups. The items will allow us to use chairs or desks individually for our in-class performances, which is not possible with a chair/desk combination. This project is just a start to transforming my classroom with new chairs and desks that allow for flexible seating configurations. Theater is a collaborative art form, and I want my classroom seating to emulate that.
