At some point in our lives we've all wanted to be apart of a team,well these girls are no different. For years many of the girls have longed for an outlet to display their personality and be apart of something bigger than themselves. These uniform pieces will help rebuild a cheer team that has not existed for the last 5 years. Providing these girls with the items to hit the floor will boost their individual confidence, allow them feel like a unit and provide them a sense of ownership as they take on the responsibility to keep and care for their uniform. For the first time in their middle school lives they will have the chance to represent their school and our PRIDE values in a new environment. This will give these girls a chance to apply many social and emotional skills while interacting with other cheer teams and school communities. Cheer is a great way to restore the trust that life has robbed some of the girls of. Providing them with uniform pieces can assist with the task of encouraging self love and sisterhood amongst one another.
