In my classroom, I can either keeps the lights completely on or turn them off. When the lights are on, it's difficult to see the board due to the glare, but with the lights off it's difficult to see the paper in front of you. I intend to put light coverings on all of the fluorescent lights in my rooms to reduce the glare while giving my students the ability to see well during instruction. I am also asking for rulers so my students have a set to use during hands-on activities in class.
