Students work with me at a kidney table for guided reading and throughout the day in small groups. At this table, they are at the table working for up to thirty minutes, and many of the students are constantly rocking in their chair. When working at their desks, students need something to give their bodies motion. They are in need alternative seating options to help them focus. I want to provide seating choices and teach them how to choose what helps them learn best. I want my students to be comfortable, motivated, and excited about learning! The items that I am requesting include the following flexible seating options: a ball chair, wobble stools, wobble disks for existing chairs, and bouncy bands for chairs. Students will have options to be comfortable and more focused on their work and reading. I believe my students have excellent potential, and they want to work hard! Flexible seating will give them options to relieve anxieties and achieve focus throughout the day. Thank you so much for your support! It will mean the world to these students, and students for years to come!
