Due to distance learning mandates of COVID, our second grade students missed out on learning the essential skills of printing their alphabet letters. Then COVID restricted them from attending first grade until the later part of the year. They did not get the foundation of reading or writing that is taught to them in first grade. So their knowledge of letter to sound recognition is not there. These books will give them a chance to make some progress towards learning to write correctly. Thanks for this great opportunity. Appreciate it.
