Students learn better working together! Math can sometimes be a difficult subject for some students to grasp but by working with other peers, students are able to succeed. By using math workshop in our math block, students are able to work in small groups with the teacher, use manipulatives and technology, and problem solve. With the large dry erase easel, markers, and erasers, students will be able to learn and grasp math concepts in a group setting. The easel will help students solve math problems collaboratively outside of their notebook or math book. They will be able to show and teach other students how to solve different math concepts. It can also be used for enrichment and remediation at various times during the day.
