These virtual reality headsets will be used to expose my students to the ever emerging world of virtual reality and augmented reality. I plan on incorporating what I learned during a professional development course at Utah Valley University to integrate VR in my Digital Media classes. Giving students a glimpse into the future of virtual reality and what will eventually be the future of careers across almost all industries. To accomplish this, I will be adding higher level learning lessons onto my current curriculum. This will take the students from a 2 dimensional platform and inserting them into a 3 dimensional space. Imparting on them this real world exposure to their not too distant future. Including the understanding of how technology can get them to this bright future and prepared them for the jobs of tomorrow.
