During the unexpected emergency school shutdown, I used the computer I've had since 2012. The way I used and incorporated the technology in class was wonderful experience for my students. Since March 13th, I have had to add programs and tools just to make it through the 3 months so that my students could get quality education live from their teacher. I've been taking training, receiving certifications, and participating in Zoom meetings and webinars just to learn how to effectively teach through distance learning. Our district will begin the school year with 100% distant learning, and I am trying to prepare by learning about different platforms and digital tools. My computer is too old to update some things I need to update. Some of the websites and apps do not work completely with my laptop.
