Utilizing the Galaxy Tablets during Daily 5 will give my students the opportunity to put on a pair of headphones and submerge themselves in the art of a great book! The most important factor that the Galaxy Tables would provide is something so many of my students rarely get at home, someone reading to JUST them. The tablets will allow the children to choose the story they want to hear, visually see the book, words and pictures, and at the same time hear the words being read. This helps my early readers build onto their foundation of reading, but also enjoy it while learning.
