These materials will be used in a community mural project within our own school walls. This year there was an extremely limited budget and we were not able to obtain all the supplies needed in art class. So the donations of Paper will be used for pre-draft mural ideas. Paint and other supplies will be used for the creation of our community mural. Left over supplies will be used to enhance students artistic ability through multiple projects. Many of the students are familiar with the struggles they face outside of our school walls. These materials will be used to create a mural to show how students connect art and their real life, and change the struggles into their life long memories. With a world full of social injustice and discrimination my students use art to express their feelings and emotions. We will use these materials to show how we can take the downfalls of society, and use it to uplift our school community as well as the surrounding families, through a peace mural.
