The use of whiteboards is almost a daily activity in my classroom. Right now we are using a piece of white cardstock inside a sheet protector. We use the whiteboards to practice letter sounds, spelling, sight words, and math concepts. The whiteboards allow me to see exactly what and how my students are doing. It provides an easy place for them to show and share their work. Children feel safe answering on a white board because they can quickly and easily change their answer without much effort. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. The math manipulatives, counters, and building blocks for geometry will be used to develop a better understanding of math concepts covered in first grade. We would really appreciate any help you can give us! The whiteboards and manipulatives will help make learning fun and more accessible.
