Having the proper equipment in a classroom is essential to quality teaching and learning. A document camera would help me to present the material to the whole class. It is no secret that students now-a-days learn visually. They are used to the fast pace world of gaming. They are bombarded with 30 second commercials to buy products. With the document camera, I can model what I want the students to learn and give many examples. Also, students can share their work to the class. They can lead a lesson and show the strategies they are using to be successful to their classmates.
