Last year, we completed an incredible project around the NCAA's March Madness and completed our own NxGL version of a battle of the books. We started with 32 books and after a ton of reading, book talks and integrating technology, we crowned a winner! During last school year, our students each read well over 10+books! We'd love to keep the reading relevant and exciting to each and every one of our 98 students. Our winning book last year was a book that was suggested by one of students and was not on any "teacher recommended" list. This was an amazing learning experience for not only our students but for us as a teachers! The world of literature is ever changing and evolving so we'd love our library to do that too.

About my class
