This project is very expensive as I am asking for a full classroom set of lab tables and chairs. Currently, my students have old rickety chairs with desks attached to them from the early 1990's. The desks are scratched up and written on, some of the chairs are broken and uncomfortable; our janitors are always re-welding parts onto the chairs so that they can be usable. Many of my students are overweight and don't fit comfortably into these chairs with desks attached. Additionally, the desks are very small and don't allow students to spread out their supplies to stay organized.
