These requested book titles, "Orbiting Jupiter", and "I Will Always Write Back How One Letter Changed Two Lives", will make my students realize how valued they are. That people that didn’t even know them cared about them and wanted them to have some brand new, just for them books. It’s a win- win, they receive an extra dose of love and realize how magical reading a good book can be. They will participate in rich discussions, writing assignments, and be exposed to unfamiliar vocabulary and places, people, and situations. Having modern day characters that they can relate to will make a huge difference in how invested they are in class and reading as a whole. Thank you for your time and consideration.
