The classroom learning environment of today requires students to be actively engaged in what they are learning, while also requiring teachers to be on the move around the classroom. Having an Apple TV and wireless speaker in the classroom would allow for BOTH of these things to happen on a daily basis, thus enhancing the learning experience for all students. For students, iPad usage will be transformed into not only something they use to practice concepts and learn new things, but also as a tool for them to proudly SHOW what they know by mirroring their screens through the projector. For myself as the teacher, Apple TV will allow me to work with my students and display real world learning WITHOUT being tied to the front of the classroom. This allows for more mobility and individual feedback during lessons. With the increased usage of technology in the classroom, I have also included a wireless speaker.
